What is a Language Lab?
The language lab is a facility where a student or any aspirants learns a language with the help and supervision of a teacher through a system. In the process the capacity to listen and the skills of speaking are being improved. One can develop skills in a language of one’s choice. Moreover, one can further excel and astound others by using dialects and specific accents in the selected language.

This system has 6 major functionalities as below.

1. Listen: - Imbibing language skills seamlessly by listening to the standard pronunciation.
2. Respond: - Repeat the lessons and have them moderated and evaluated by the linguistic expert instantly.
3. Record: - By offering a direct comparison of the learner’s voice with that of the linguist, all intricate aspects of the language can be picked up with ease.
4. Evaluate: - The best method of evaluation is listening to one’s own pronunciation. The student can do a periodical evaluation to measure the progress as well as evaluate his/her language with that of the expert.
5. Monitor and Guide: - The linguist can monitor each student independently without disturbing other students and guide them online instantly.
6. Broadcast: - The teacher can interrupt the class and address them collectively.

The main two modules of Digital Language lab are

1. Teacher Console: Where by the teacher or the linguist gain control over all the students of a class collectively or individually.
2. Student Console:- The assigned lessons can be studied by the student, or bring the attention of teacher, record speech, verify the values self or by teacher, or can do self study.
